When and Why
Zooming is one of those things many amateurs do constantly. Mostly because that little zoom lever is there. They zoom in.. then out a bit,... then because their finger is still on it they zoom all the way out,... then realize it looked better a little closer so they zoom back in.
What this shows the viewer is someone who can't make up their mind. In fact you should try not to use your zoom. Better yet, next time you put your finger on the zoom lever stop and think "why am I zooming here? Can I get the shot another way"?
This first video I'll show you real reasons to use your zoom. If you are not using your zoom with one of these reasons in mind then don't do it.
